This is a watercolor painting created for a fundraising effort for Honor Flight Columbus. The painting was used for a poster and
direct mail cards. The original painting was auctioned off at the
annual banquet with 100% of the funds going to Honor Flight.
I was juried into the 2018 Ohio State Fair. Was honored to receive the McConnell Art Center Award. (Professional Division) There were 2,700 paintings submitted to the competition from across the state with 170 accepted into the exhibition.
Painting from a live model at the Hilton, Downtown Columbus. She was wearing a traditional Japanese wedding dress. This was for a fund raising event benefiting Fresh A.I.R. Gallery. Painted in watercolor; size 11″ x 14″ in about two hours.
