Visited the Biltmore Estate in Ashville, NC. in December, 2013. Enjoyed the time off and visited many art studios in the area.
Inspiration for the Hill-Billy band painting came from this trip.

I painted with a group of other artists at the Art of Recovery last night to benefit the Fresh A.I.R. Gallery. Had a good time, enjoyed the food and listened to a great band. The painting was auctioned to the highest bidder with all proceeds going to the Gallery.
Westerville Habitat Partnership presented Tapestry of a Town; a walking tour of historic Westerville benefiting Habitat for Humanity. I painted at the Hanby House – the home of Benjamin R Hanby who composed “Up on the Roof Top” and “Darling Nellie Gray”. For more information about the Hanby House visit http://www.hanbyhouse.org. At the end of the painting session, the original watercolor painting was donated to the director of the museum.
I painted with other Central Ohio Watercolor Society members to support the Christ Child Society of Columbus charity event on April 13. The evening had a French Flair with Eiffel Tower replicas and artists painting throughout the revue. Christ Child is a nonprofit association of volunteers dedicated to serving at-risk children in the Columbus area.
